HealthPartners Medical Group receives Acclaim Award, 2006

The American Medical Group Association gave the 2006 AMGA Acclaim Award, which honors organizations that embrace the Institute of Medicine's aims for an ideal healthcare system, to HealthPartners Medical Group for its "Primary Care Clinic Workflow Standardization Care Model Process" initiative. Part of this initiative involved creating Prepared Practice Teams to leverage HealthPartners' electronic medical record to ensure health information availability at all times.

AMGA also recognized Fallon Clinic for "Responding to the IOM Challenge: An Integrated Transformation for Patient Safety, Service Quality, and Clinical Quality."
